The grapes are grown in an old vineyard, which is located behind Anzio. This vineyard grows vines without rootstock, because due to the peculiarities of the soil, phylloxera could not spread. The vines are over 60 years old, and the direct influence of the sea and marine soils make this small area unique for Bellone production.
