History: In 1929, the founder of the company, Francesco Calabria, boarded the Regina D'Italia in Italy bound for Australia. In 1934, after a five-year hiatus, Francesco wrote to his wife Elisabetta in Italy and asked her to join him in Australia. Upon arrival, their first home was Villa 116 on Leonard Road in southeastern Australia.
