When serving, the wine can be decanted to separate the "fondo", sediment, and evaluate its purity, or the wine can be served from the "fondo" to better appreciate its aroma.
The wine contains low levels of sulfites.
Naturalmente Prosecco Col Fondo Frizante is the most original and traditional version of Prosecco. Vinification takes place without the addition of sulphites by natural fermentation "col fondo" on the lees. In wine, the visible sediment present is the natural yeast of the wine, which gives a fragrant bread crust.
