Aging 14 to 18 months (20% in new oak barrels)
Origin of wood: French oak forests (Tronçay in particular).
Vineyard location: in the village of Savigny-les-Beaune in a small valley north of Bon. The vineyard of Clos de Godé has an ideal southern exposure and is located at an altitude of 360m (1180 feet), next to the Clos Des Lavières Premier Cru.
Soil: marl and limestone.
Area: 1.6 hectares.
