Aging: The whisky is distilled and aged for 3 years in Scotland, followed by another 3 to 6 months on the island of Ré in Pineau des Charentes oak barrels
The whiskey aging cellar is located on Re Island. The casks are exposed to sea spray from the island, which brings a subtle iodized note with floral and fruity aromas that complete the richness, character and originality of LE PERTUIS whiskey.
